Educational Qualification:
Groundwater wing of Water Resources Department: Geology Master of Science degree Any university that has been granted recognition by the University Grants Commission must provide a Master of Science degree in applied geology or a Master of Science (Technology) in hydrogeology.
Assistant Geologist in Geology and Mining Department: Must hold an M.Sc. in Geology from any university. Candidates with actual fieldwork experience will be preferred, other things being equal.
Age Limit:
SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/ DCs, BC(OBCM)s, BCMs, and Destitute Widows of all categories – Minimum age is 18, with no upper age limit.
‘OTHERS’ [i.e. candidates not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/ DCs, BC(OBCM)s and BCMs] – 18 years – 32 years.
