WBPSC Recruitment 2023 – Educational Qualifications
A Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B. V. Sc. & A.H.) or Veterinary Science (B.V. Sc.) from a recognized University/ Institute or any other qualification as mentioned in the First and Second Schedule of the Indian Veterinary Council Act. 1984 (52 of 1984),
Registration with a Veterinary Council established under any statute of the State government or the Government of India &
Knowledge of Bengali or Nepali – both spoken and written
Age Limit
Applying candidates should not be more than 36 years as on 1st January 2022.

Selection Process
Candidates can be selected on the basis of the interview, in case of a massive variety of candidates the officers may also limit applicants to be referred to for an interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of either higher qualifications/ higher marks/obtained in the essential qualifications or experience in relevant field higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement or on the basis of a Screening test.
