Professor

For Medical Candidates: MBBS, MD, MS, MDS, M.Ch, DM, Ph.D. with a minimum of 11 to 14 years of experience in the relevant field.

Non-Medical candidates: 14 years of teaching and/or research experience indiscipline/ subject concerned after obtaining a Ph.D

Additional Professor

For Medical Candidates: MD, MS, DM, M.Ch, Ph.D. with a minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in the relevant field.

Non-Medical candidates: 10 years of teaching and/ or research experience indiscipline/ subject concerned after obtaining a Ph.D

Assistant Professor

For Medical Candidates: MD, MS, DM, M.Ch, Ph.D. with a minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in the relevant field.

For Non-Medical candidates: 3 years of teaching and/or research experience indiscipline/ subject concerned after obtaining a Ph.D

Associate Professor

For Medical Candidates: MD, MS, MDS, DM, M.Ch, Ph.D. with a minimum of 3 to 6 years of experience in the relevant field.

For Non-Medical candidates: 6 years of teaching and/or research experience indiscipline/ subject concerned after obtaining a Ph.D

Age Limit

For candidates applying for Faculty posts on Direct Recruitment Basis, the age limit should not exceed 50 years for Assistant Professor and Associate Professor positions, and 58 years for Additional Professor and Professor positions.

For candidates applying on a Deputation Basis, the terms and conditions of the deputation will be in accordance with the standard terms and conditions provided under the Department of Personnel & Training, which may be amended from time to time.

For candidates applying on a Contractual Basis, the age limit for the positions of Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor should not exceed 70 years as of the closing date.
